THOMPSON, Leoma Bowman

Kingman—Leoma Thompson, 84, Kingman, died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 1989 at Covington Manor Health Care Center.
  She was born June 25, 1904 in Wallace, the daughter of Joseph and Ina Alward Bowman. She was married Dec. 19, 1925 to Randall Thompson, who preceded her in death.

  She was an elementary school teacher in the Grange Corner and Tangier schools. She was a member of the Kingman United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Sugar Creek Home Extension Club.

  Surviving are one grandson, Danton Barnhart, Indianapolis; one granddaughter, Randalla Jo Charters, Clinton, and one brother, Clarence Bowman, Wallace. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jo Nell Barnhart.

  Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Wolf Creek Cemetery, south of Wallace, with the Rev. John Swaim officiating.  Rice Funeral Home, Marshall, was in charge of arrangements. – thanks to S
