Kingman

Frank Thompson, 61, was found dead in bed in his home at Indianapolis early Monday monring. Mr. Thompson was born in 1905 at Tangier, a son of MIles and Martha Weaver Thompson. He was employed by the Woolworth firm for 47 years. Surviving are his wife, Lillian; a son, James of Indianapolis, a daughter, Mrs. Sue Fisher of Indianapolis; a granddaughter, 3 sisters, Dr. Florence Thompson of Terre Haute and Mrs. Harry Tunin and Mrs. Carl Sloan, both of Kingman; a brother, Eugene of Rockville, and a half-brother, Seth Woods of LaPorte. Funeral services are set for 10:30 a. m. Wednesday at Flanner & Buchanan, Broad Ripple Mortuary. Graveside rites will be conducted at 1 p. m. Thursday at Rushcreek Cemetery near Kingman.

Funeral services for J. Frank Thompson, 61-year-old native of Tangier, who died Monday, May 31, at his home in Indianapolis, were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Flamer & Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary.  Burial was in Rush Creek Cemetery near Tangier.
Mr. Thompson was manager of the F. W. Woolworth Store on Monument Circle in Indianapolis and had been with the firm for 40 years.  He was secretary-treasurer of the Indiana Retail Council and was a member of the Northminister Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Downtown Kiwanis Club.
Survivors include: his wife, Lillian E.; one son, James F. Thompson Jr. of Indianapolis; one daughter, Mrs. Sue Ellen Fischer of Indianapolis; two brothers, Seth Wood of LaPorte and Eugene Thompson of Rockville;, three sisters, Mrs. Harry Tunin and Mrs. Carl Sloan, both of Kingman, and Dr. Florence Thompson of Terre .Haute and one grandchild.
