Clay Thompson, 74, died suddenly at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Von Nichols, Marshall, of a heart attack.
He had been in ill health several weeks following an attack of acute indigestion.
Surviving are two sons, Randall Thompson of Bloomingdale and Col Forest Thompson, who is in the Navy stationed in the Hawaiian Islands; three daughters, Mrs. Nichols, Mrs. Shirley Martin of Marshall and Mrs. Kathleen Kirtley of Indianapolis; two brothers, Charles of Cates and Dee of Kingman; and one sister, Mrs. Ura Summers, of Cates. - s
