Wreatha Marie Coffing Thomas, 97 of 2804 S 185h St, died at 1:20 p.m. Sunday Nov 12, 2000 in Rosewalk Village where she had been a resident. She was born July 20, 1903 in Covington attended school in Veedersburg and formerly resided in Attica. She also resided in Albuquerque, NM for 20 years returning to Lafayette in 1959. For many years she worked for Attica Telephone Co and retired as a switchboard operator at Purdue University where she had worked six years. On Oct 11, 1923 she married Joseph Thomas in Attica, and he died June 8 1968.  She was a member of Lafayette Christian Church and Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority of Albuquerque.  There are no immediate survivors. - kbz
