Kingman - Orie Lex Thomas, 55 of Kingman, a veteran of WWII died Thursday in his home. Born March 16, 1919 at Yeddo, he was a son of Harry and Artean Royce Thomas. He was married Oct 8, 1969 to Betsy Clarkson of Veedersburg. She survives. Other survivors include six sons: James with the US Navy; Bob of Crawfordsville; Mike of West Lebanon; Rick of Danville, Ill; Fred of Williamsport and David, at home; two brothers, Paul and Frank of Veedersburg and two sisters, Mrs. Alvin (Josephine) Conner of Covington and Mrs. William (Alberta) Ansberry of Texas. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Fisher-Dickerson Funeral Home at Veedersburg with Rev. Cloyd Kyger officiating. Burial will bei n Rockfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m.

Orie Lex Thomas, 55, of Rt. 2, Kingman, died at 3:45 a.m. Thursday, July 18, at his home.
  Born March 6, 1919, in Yeddo, h was the son of Harry and Artea Royce Thomas. He was married October 8, 1969, in Veedersburg to Betsy Clarkston, who survives.
  Other survivors include six sons, James in the Navy, Bob of Crawfordsville, Mike of West Lebanon, Fred of Williamsport, Rick of Danville and David at home; two brothers, Paul E. and Frank, both of Veedersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Alvin (Josephine) Conner of Covington and Mrs. William (Alberta) Ansberry of Texas; and eight grandchildren.
  Mr. Thomas was a veteran of World War II.
  Services were held Saturday at the Fishero-Dickerson Funeral Home with the Rev. Cloyd Kyger officiating. Burial was in Rockfield Cemetery. -s
