Mrs. Robert Therien died in a hospital in Glendale, Calif according to word received by friends in Veedersburg. Born in Crawfordsville, she was the former Anita Patton, daughter of Fred and Blanch Patton. She moved to Veedersburg with her parents when a child. She attended the Veedersburg schools and was married to Robert Therien, who has served in the US Navy for many years. He survives along with three sons: Robert, Michael and Keith, also her mother, two brothers and one sister. Mrs. Therien had been in failing health the past 3 years and had undergone surgery several times. Funeral services and burial occurred in Glendale. – kbz
