Hillsboro – Thomas Templeton, 73 of Hillsboro died at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday in his home. A member of Hillsboro Christian Church, he was a 1933 graduate of Hillsboro HS. He retired from Fountain Foundry at Veedersburg in 1979 after 29 years. Mr. Templeton was born Jan 2, 1914 to Glen and Elise Bailey Templeton. On June 15, 1933, he married Buyrl Shirley who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. RT (Janith Lou) Howard of Crawfordsville; a son, Loran Lee of Mission Viejo, Calif; 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Graveside services are set for 1 p.m. Friday in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. There will be no calling at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home which is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials in the form of contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity. – thanks to Kim Davis Keeling for all of her great genealogical items (this and the one below) she let me borrow to put on the site !!!
