Mrs. Samuel Templeton of Newtown died at her home at noon, Saturday following a month’s illness of a nervous affliction. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Harris born in Newtown about 70 years ago. She spent her entire life in that section.  She was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband and a son, Glenn whose whereabouts is unknown. – kbz

Newtown, Nov. 21-Mrs. Samuel Templeton died at her home at noon Saturday following a month's illness of a nervous affliction. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Harris and was born in Newtown about seventy years ago. She was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving are her husband and a son, Glen, whose whereabouts is unknown. Funeral services were held Monday, burial in the Newtown cemetery. She was the last surviving member of the Harris family of six and long, one of the highly respected old families of Newtown.  – kbz
