Hillsboro – Buryl E. Templeton, 65 of Hillsboro died Sunday morning in St.
Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette. Mrs.
Templeton was an employee of Helen’s Shoppe at Hillsboro for more than 20
years. She attended Hillsboro Christian Church and was a graduate of
Veedersburg HS. She was born Feb 4, 1914
in Bismarck, Ill, a daughter of Frank and Bessie Woods Shirley. She was married
June 15, 1933 at Spencer to Thomas L. Templeton who survives. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Richard
(Janith Lou) Zachary of Crawfordsville; a son, Loran L. Templeton of Mission
Viejo, Calif; a sister, Mrs. Edith Stonebraker of Veedersburg; a brother,
Harley Shirley of Crown Point; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister. Private services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday
in Crumley-Williams Funeral Home at Hillsboro with Rev. Thomas Inabinett
officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. Friends may
call 2-4 p.m. or 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. – thanks to Kim Davis Keeling for all her
