VEEDERSBURG — Barton A. Teegarden, 75, suffered a fatal heart attack at 7:20 Sunday at his home in Veedersburg. He had been suffering from a heart ailment about a month. Mr. Teegarden was a retired mechanic and engaged at refurnishing furniture at the time of his death. Born Feb. 3, 1883, at Newport, he was the son of Howard and Kathryn Narlett Teegarden. He was married in 1910 to Tuah Dice. Survivors include the widow and two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Pattison of Danville, Ill., and Mrs. Gertrude Philpott of Veedersburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Tuesday at Fishero Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home. - typed by Walt W.

Barton A. Teegarden, 75 died at 7:20 a.m. Sunday Oct 5 at his home in Veedersburg following a heart attack. He had been in ill health about one year. A retired mechanic, Mrs. Teegarden was operator of a furniture refinishing shop in his home at the time of his death. He was born in Newport, Ind on Feb 3, 1883 the son of Howard and Kathryn Marlatt Teegarden. He was married in 1910 to Tuah Dice. Surviving are his wife and two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Pattison of Danville, Ill and Mrs. Gertrude Philpott of Veedersburg. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fishero Funeral Home with burial in Rockfield Cemetery. – kbz
