TAYLOR, Leo - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Leo Taylor of Covington, age 85, died Sunday morning, April 11, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. He was born in Clark County, Illinois, April 15, 1896, the son of Jacob and Ellen Bullard Taylor. He was married to Edith Cumrine, who died in 1977. He formerly lived in Danville, Illinois, and worked as a steamfitter in construction.

  Surviving are two daughters, Nadine Gulley of RR 2, Veedersburg, and Ella Webster of Pekin, Illinois; 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

  Graveside rites and burial were held Tuesday afternoon in Gordon Cemetery at Danville, Illinois, with Rev. William Dittman officiating. Parham Funeral Home of Veedersburg was in charge of arrangements. – thanks to S
