Albert Taylor, 77 of Yountsville was found dead about 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the rear of his home. Acting coroner Dr. JM Kirtley said death was self-inflicted by hanging. The body was suspended by a rope fro ma tree near Sugar Creek. Mr. Taylor was born on a farm near Yountsville May 26, 1888 a son of Joseph W. and Dovie Follick Taylor. He was married to Grace Lawton April 28, 1909 in Crawfordsville. He lived on that farm until his retirement in 1946. For over For over 20 years he had worked at the Indiana State Fair. He was a member of the Yountsville Methodist Church and the Alamo Masonic Lodge. He attended Yountsville and Crawfordsville schools. Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Jane Frazier of Hillsboro; a brother, Russell of Rockford, Ill; two granddaughters, Mrs. Carolyn Stockdale of Hillsboro and Mrs. Sally Kinser of Galveston, TX and a great grandson, Paul W. Stockdale. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. - kbz
