Covington—(CNS)—Mrs. Mary L. Tanner, 79, a native of Illinois, died unexpectedly at 10 a. m. Tuesday (Dec. 4, 1951) at her home, 602 Harrison St. She was born July 8, 1872 in Illinois, daughter of Levi and Elizabeth Jordan. She was married in 1899 to Webb Jordan, who survives. Also surviving are two brothers, Darvin Jordan of Williamsport Route 2, Bill Jordan of near Westville; two sisters, Mrs. Etta Landon of Williamsport, and another of Boone County, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Mae Jones, of Chicago; a grandson and several nieces and nephews. The body is at the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home. Arrangements are incomplete.
Covington —(CNS)— Funeral services for Mrs. Mary L. Tanner, 79, of 602 Harrison St., will be at 2 p. m. Thursday in the Assembly of God Church. The Rev. George Cain and the Rev. Thomas Paino will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery with Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in charge. The body is at the funeral home. Mrs. Tanner died at 10 a. m. Tuesday (Dec. 4, 1951) at her home. A sister, Mrs. Muse Land of Williamsport, survives with other relatives named previously. --typed by Walt W
