TANNER, Keziah Neal - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mellott, March 30 – Mrs. Tizah (Keziah) Neal Tanner, 85, died Monday night after an influenza attack at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Earl Smith. She spent her entire life in this community. In 1873 she married William Tanner who died in 1920. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. HC Duke, Fithian, Ill; Mrs. Otis Brown, Rankin, Ill; Mrs. Dora Mittman, whose residence is unknown here and Mrs. Smith with a son, Clarence Tanner of Gary.  The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Mellott Christian Congregational Church of which she was a member; burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro. – kbz
