WILLIAMSPORT -- Clara Ellen Trueblood, 67, of 5 Market St., Williamsport, died 7 p.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette, where she had been a patient since Feb., 25. She had been in ill health for several years.
Mrs. Trueblood was born in Warren County on Jan. 14, 1903, the daughter of Joseph and Eugene Rutherford Dalton. She had lived most of her live in the Williamsport and Locust Grove Communities. She was married Oct. 10, 1921, at Cayuga to Milburn Trueblood, who survives.
Surviving withg the husband are one son, Lois Trueblood, of Rt. 1 Rommey; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Peggy) Smith, Williamsport; Mrs. Luther (Rosa Mae) McClure, Rt. 3, Covington; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Perrin, Williamsport; Mrs. Lucy Roberts, West Lafayette; two brothers, Carter Dalton, of near Boswell; Coleman Dalton, Williamsport; seven grandchildren, one son and three sisters proceded her in death.
Friends were received at DeSutter Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services were held in the Williamsport Christian Church 2 p.m. Monday with Rev. Norman Able officiating. Interment followed in the Locust Grove Cemetery near Boswell, with DeSutter Funeral Home in charge.

TRUEBLOOD Rites
Funeral services for Clara Ellen Trueblood, 67, of 5 Market St., Williamsport, who died at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, 7 p.m. Friday, were held at the Williamsport Christian Church with Rev. Norman Able officiating. Mrs. Beulah Pugh rendered appropriate organ selections.
Serving as pallbearers were Vorhees Dalton, Glenn Dalton, Billy Roberts, Dean Perrin, Kenneth Foster and James Fix.
Interment followed in Locust Grove Cemetery near Boswell, with DeSutter Funeral Home in charge.
