Grange Corner – Beulah Marguerite Thomas, 99, Grange Corner died at 11 p.m. Sunday Feb 23, 2003 in Williamsburg Health Care Center, Crawfordsville. She was born April 299, 1903 in Wallace, the daughter of John Henderson and Ida Elizabeth McElwee Davis. She married J. Bon Thomas July 25, 1925. He preceded in death Aug 5, 1990. She was a 1921 graduate of Wallace HS and a 1922 graduate of Madam Blakers Teachers college of Indianapolis. She was a member of Wolf Creek Church, Wolf Creek Ladies Aid, Friends Union Ladies Aid, Sugar Creek Home Demonstration Club and Wallace Senior Citizens Club. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, John D. Thomas, Waynetown and Joseph B. Thomas, Bloomingdale; a daughter, Ruthann Yater, Kingman; five grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 7 great, great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three great grandsons. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Friday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc, Waynetown with Rev. Lester Niles officiating. Burial was in Wolf Creek Cemetery, Wallace. Memorial contributions may be made in Wolf Creek Church, envelopes provided at the funeral home. ---kbz
