Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Joseph F. Szymczak, 69, a resident of 11 Indiana for 10 years, died at 3:10 a.m. today (March 11, 1966) in the Veterans Administration Hospital where he had been a patient since November of 1964. Born July 4, 1896, in Germany, he was a son of Martin and Agenes Szymczak. Surviving are a son, Norbert of South Milwaukee, Wis.; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Semonick of Danville; three brothers, Frank, Anthony, and Chester, all of Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Brunski and Mrs. Helen Kaluzny both of Milwaukee, and five grandchildren. He was retired general manager of the Potts Machine Co. at Jackson, Mich. He was an Army veteran of World War I. The body will be sent Saturday to the Rembowski Funeral Home in Milwaukee. Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the VA Hospital chapel in Wood, Wis., with burial in the VA Cemetery there. The Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements here.   --typed by Walt W
