SWIM, Effie - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Funeral services were Tuesday in Covington for Mrs. Effie Othel Swim, 70 who died early Saturday at her home on Covington Rt 2.  Mrs. Swim was born Sept 18, 1882 at Wrightsville, Ohio the daughter of Robert and Annie E. Francis LaMar. She was married to Emory Swim May 1, 1907. He survives. Also surviving are six sons: Marion L; Russell C. and Ralph D. all of Oxford, Ind; Harold O of Covington Rt 2; Walter R. of Danville and Glen of LaPorte, Ind and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Davis of Custer, SD.  She was preceded in death by two children, three brothers and two sisters.  She was a member of the Seventh Street Church and was a resident of the Christian Union Community for 5 years.
