SWIFT, Harry Samuel - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Harry Samuel Swift of Covington, age 79, died Monday, August 9, in Vermilion Manor Nursing Home at Danville, Illinois. He was born in Danville, April 30, 1903, the son of Clyde Emmett and Emma Wilhelmena Fredricka Burows Swift. August 30, 1928, he married Eula Teel, who survives. Swift retired in 1970 after 50 years with Chicago and Eastern Railroad in the stores department. He was a member of Brotherhood of Railway and Airline Clerks.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Patricia Stears of Danville; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

  Private family services were held at Lakeside Funeral Chapel in Danville with Ken Fetters officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park at Danville. =s
