  Ellen E. Swanson of Attica, age 85, died Monday afternoon, May 30, in Woodland Manor Nursing Center. She was born at Fowler, May 21, 1898, the daughter of John and Amanda L. Swanson Larson. January 20, 1920, she married John E. Swanson, who died in 1938. She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Attica and Merry-Go-Round Club. She attended Antioch School in Davis Township and for about ten years was a hand loader for radio Materials Corporation.

  Surviving are a daughter, Esther Foxworthy of Williamsport; two sons, Ralph of Attica and Wilbur of RR 1, Attica; a sister, Marie Hogstrum of RR 2, Attica; a brother, Louis Larson of RR 2, Attica; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

  The body was taken from Maus Funeral Home in Attica to the Attica First Lutheran Church for funeral services this morning (Thursday). Rev. Karl Korbel officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – thanks to S
