Attica – Mrs. Edna Swanson, 70, died at noon Wednesday in Community Hospital, Williamsport after an illness of several months. Born in 1883 near Attica she spent most of her life in t his vicinity and was a member of First Lutheran Church. Surviving besides the husband, Gus are three daughters, Mrs. William Carlson of near Linden, Mrs. Ivadean Bell of near Wingate and Mrs. Emma Sellars of Rantoul, Ill; one son, Leonard of near Attica; two brothers, Lawrence and Virgil (no last name) both of Attica and one sister, Mrs. Edith Swanson of Madrid, Iowa. – kbz
