COVINGTON — Mrs. Margaret Louise Swaney, 55, of 915 Seventh St., died in her home at 11 p.m. Thursday. She had been in ill health for two years. She was a resident of Covington for 38 years, moving here from Ogdon, Ill. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church. Born Sept. 10, 1918, at Ogdon, she was a daughter of William and Cora Ebert Peck. She married William A. Swaney on Oct. 31, 1936. He survives. Other survivors include a son, William A. Jr. of Rt. 1, Covington; two brothers, Walter Peck of St. Joseph, Ill., and Oscar Peck of Champaign, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Swearingen of Urbana, Ill., and Mrs. Blanche Fryer of Champaign; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, grandson, brother and sister. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home with the Rev. Edgar Allen officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturdayl - typed by Walt W.

Covington, Ind.—Mrs. Margaret Louise Swaney, 55, of Covington, died at 11 p.m. Thursday (July 11, 1974) at her home. She had been ill for two years.
She was born Sept. 10, 1918, in Ogden, Ill., the daughter of William and Cora Ebert Peck. She married William Swaney Oct. 31, 1936, and he survives.
