SWAIM, Daniel C. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Tangier, April 3—Daniel C. Swaim, 66, of near Tangier, died at 7 a.m. Sunday at the Vermillion County Hospital in Clinton. Mr. Swaim, a life resident of Liberty Township, had been in failing health for several months.     Born Nov. 14, 1877 at Tangier, he was a son of John B. and Sarah Armstrong Swaim. He was married Nov. 24, 1901 to his wife, Grace, who survives.  Surviving in addition to the widow are two sons, Frank of Detroit and Hansel, location unknown; three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Anglemyer of Covington, Mrs. Grace Towell of Tangier and Mrs. Letitia Ratcliff of Bloomingdale; and a brother, Ralph of Tangier.   The funeral was held at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the Fairview Church near Tangier, with the Rev. Winn Sherrill officiating. – S
