SUTTON, Mary Rhinehart - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Attica, Ind Jan 21 – Funeral services were held here today for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Rhinehart Sutton, 95, Fountain County’s oldest resident who died Sunday in her home. She was born Feb 15, 1850 in Germany, the daughter of Michael and Marguerite Yeager Rhinehart and came to this county at the age of three. She lived in Benton and Warren counties until after her marriage in 1874. She lived in Attic 68 years, 67 of which she lived in the house where she died. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She is survived by the following children: Ada Sutton, at home; Mrs. Daisy Jensen of Inwood, IA; LB Sutton of Inwood; Mrs. Nelson LeClair of Los Angeles; OD and Horace Sutton, both of Attica and Earl Sutton of Lafayette.  Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
