Veedersburg — Flossie Dell Sutton, age 70, sister of Mrs. Ralph (Marie) Clark of Covington, died at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Logansport Hospital. She had been ill eight years. Born April 18, 1893, two miles north of Veedersburg, she was the daughter of James and Susan Cline Sutton. She had been employed for 32 years in the office of the Painter and Decorator Co., Lafayette. Miss Sutton had attended the Stone Bluff Grade School and the Veedersburg High School. She was a member of the Storm Bluff EUB Church and the Hope Chapter Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Blanch Frazee of Veedersburg and Mrs. Marie Clark of Covington; a brother, Rex Sutton of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Maude Fleming. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Stone Bluff EUB Church. The Rev. Conley Rowland officiated. Burial was in the Osborn Prairie Cemetery with the J. Fred Parham Funeral Home in charge. --typed by Walt W

Funeral services for Flossie Dell Sutton, 70, a native of near Veedersburg, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Stone Bluff E. U. B. church of which she had been a member. Rev. Conley Rowland, the pastor, conducted the service and burial took place in the Osborn Prairie Cemetery, with the Parham Funeral Home in charge.
Miss Sutton died at 3 p.m.. Saturday, Sept. 28, in a Logansport Hospital after an illness of eight years. She had been employed in the office of the Painter and Decorator Company in Lafayette for 32 years.
She was born two miles north of Veedersburg, April 18, 1893, the daughter of James and Susan Cline Sutton. She attended the Stone Bluff grade school and the Veedersburg High School. Besides membership in the Stone Bluff church she also was a member of the ~~~~~
