Veedersburg—Elizabeth Grace Sutton, 70, Route 4, Veedersburg, died at 4:40 a.m. Friday, April 7, 1989, at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville, following a brief illness.

  She was born Jan. 28, 1919 in Covington, the daughter of William I. and Augusta Nicholas Green. She had lived most of her life in Veedersburg and also formerly lived in Malachi, Fla., and had lived some time in Crawfordsville. She was married Sept. 2, 1971, in Williamsport to Forest Sutton, who preceded her in death Oct. 18, 1985.

  She was a graduate of Veedersburg High School in 1936 and had been a former secretary at Harrison Steel Castings Co., Attica, for about 30 years. She had formerly owned Sandy’s Tavern in Attica.

  She was a member of the Mellott Christian Church, the Veedersburg Chapter of O.E.S., Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles Lodge of Attica and the Legion Auxiliary of the American Legion of Crawfordsville, and was a supporter of the Veedersburg Public Library.
  Surviving are her father of Hillsboro; a brother, Orville Powell, Veedersburg, and three nephews, William, Robert, and Gregory Powell.

  Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday in Maus Funeral Home Chapel, Attica, with Paul Ziebart officiating. Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. – thanks to S
