SUTHERLIN, Moda Case - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Moda Sutherlin passed away Sunday morning at 8 o’clock on her farm home south of Veedersburg at the age of 64.  Mrs. Sutherlin had been ill for a week previous to her death. She was born Sept 3, 1883 at North Salem, the daughter of Louis and Josie Call Case. She was married to Leonard Sutherlin in 1907 and was a member of the Scott’s Prairie Church. She is survived by the husband; two daughters, Mrs. Alta Hockenberry of Indianapolis and Mrs. Agnes Coats of North Salem; a son, Raymond, at home; a sister, Mrs. Merle Stewart of Indianapolis.  Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the home with the Leslie Smith officiating. Burial was at North Salem, Indiana.   --– transcribed by kbz
