SUNDT, Dora Simonson - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Attica – Mrs. Dora C. Sundt, age 68 of Attica died at 5:40 a.m. Saturday Jan 18 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. She had been hospitalized since Jan 15.  Mrs. Sundt was born in Evansville, Minn Aug 6, 1900 the daughter of Edd and Olivia Anseth Simonson. She moved from Minn to Stanley ND when she was young and resided there until she moved to Attica in 1937. She was married in 1923 in North Dakota to Ole Sundt who survives. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Attica, the Women of the Moose and War Mothers. Surviving in addition to her husband are: three sons, DeWayne and Garlyn, both of Attica and Jenner of Connersville; three daughters, Mrs. Claude Stevens and Mrs. Reed Blankenship of Attica and Mrs. Garnet Blankenship of Lafayette; four sisters, Mrs. Paul Weigle Mrs. William Walters and Mrs. Clay Rhodes, all of Attica and two brothers, Christ and Roy Simonson and --- grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at DeSutter Funeral Home here. The Rev. Karl Korbel officiated and burial was in Friends Chapel Cemetery northeast of Scotland. = kbz
