SUMMERS, Joe R. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

  Joe R. Summers of Mellott, age 48, died Monday afternoon, June 13, in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville, Illinois. He was born at Bismarck, Illinois, July 1, 1934, the son of Raymond and Jessie Summers. He married Diane Mathis, who survives. A member of Hopewell Baptist Church of Newtown and the Attica Moose Lodge, he had attended Hillsboro High School and was employed by Hyster Company in Danville, Illinois.

  Also surviving are his mother of Hillsboro; three daughters, Vicki Summers of West Lafayette, Cindy Summers and Missy Summers, both of Veedersburg; two sons, Randy and Bradley, both of Veedersburg; three sisters, Iris Davidson of El Paso, Texas, Ramona Main of anchorage, Alaska, and Lois Ridge of Crawfordsville; two brothers, Robert E. and Melvin, both of Hillsboro; and four grandchildren.

  At press time, funeral services were incomplete at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro.   Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro for Joe R. Summers of Mellott, 48, who died June 11 in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville, Illinois. Rev. J.
