ATTICA -- Funeral services for Dr. Paul R. Sullivan, age 73, of Attica, who died Sunday, Nov. 22 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, at the St. Francis Xavier Church. The Rev. Charles Remaklus officiated and burial was in St. Francis Cemetery. Dr. Sullivan was a dentist in Attica from 1918 till his death. He formerly practiced two years in Crawfordsville. He was born in Veedersburg March 22, 1891, the son of James and Kathryn Sullivan. He was a member of the Class of 1910 at Veedersburg High School and graduated from Indiana Dental College, Indianapolis, in 1915. He was a veteran of World War I. He is survived by: his wife, the former Ruby Hill, who he married Oct. 18, 1928 in Lafayette; two sons, Paul of Bloomington and Capt. Richard Sullivan with the U. S. Air Force at Lincoln, Neb.; one sister, Mrs. Gretchen Stultz of Valparaiso, and four grandchildren.   --typed by Walt W

known Attica dentist and a native of Veedersburg, died at 4:20 p.m.Sunday in St Elizabeth's Hospital Lafayette.  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Attica, of which the deceased was  a member.
Dr. Sullivan was born on March 22, 1898, in Veedersburg, the son of James and Katherine Sullivan, pioneer residents of the town.  James Sullivan had been haad been connected with the construction of the east and west railroad between Indianapolis and Bloomington, Ill. and operated a lunchroom and bakery for many years.
The deceased was a graduate of the Veedersburg in 1910, and then of the Indiana Dental College, practiced dentistry in Crawfordsville two years and relocated in Attica in 1918 and had practiced there continuously ever since.  He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of various civic organizations.
He was married on December 18,1920, to Ruby Hill, who survives with two sons, Robert of Bloomington, Ind. and Captain Richard Sullivan, of the United States Air Force,, Lincoln, Neb.; a sister, Mrs. Gretchen Stultz of Valparaiso, and four grandchildren.
Rosary was recited at the DeSutter Funeral Home in Attica at 9 p.m. Tuesday.  Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning with Rev. Charles Remaklus officiating, with interment in St. Francis Cemetery, Attica with R. A. DeSutter in charge.

Funeral services for Dr. Paul R. Sullivan, 73, prominent Attica : Dentist and native of Veedersburg, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Attica.  Rev. Charles Remaklus conducted the . service and interment took place in St. Francis cemetery.
Dr. Sullivan, who died in a Lafayette hospital on Sunday, Nov. 22 after an illness of two months, was born March 22, 1891, in Veedersburg, and was graduated from the high school here in 1910, and from Indiana Dental College, Indianapolis in 1915.   He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of many civic groups.
His father James Sullivan was connected with the construction of the old Indianapolis, Bloomington and Western Railroad and became one of the first businessmen in Veedersburg.  Dr. Sullivan was pre-deceased by four brothers, Dr. Arthur, M. D.; John, Henry and Leo, and three sisters, Marie, Margaret and Kathryn. Besides the widow and two sons, Paul and Air Force Captain Richard, four grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Gretchen Stultz of Valparaiso, survive.
