SULLIVAN, Florence Huff - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Word of the death of Mrs. Florence M. Sullivan, 76, wife of John Sullivan of Valparaiso, Ind formerly of Veedersburg has been received by friends here. She passed away Dec 22 after 24 years of invalidism. Surviving are the husband and daughter, Marie in Valparaiso. Mrs. Sullivan was the former Florence HUFF, who attended Veedersburg HS and the Methodist Church here. She was the daughter of the editor and publisher of the Veedersburg Record which was published for several years by Mr. Huff, now deceased assisted by his two sons, Ed and Walter and also by the daughter Florence and John Sullivan, eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Sullivan were married 48 years ago. For a few years, John operated a restaurant in the Sullivan building on E. 2nd Street, now owned by Keith Smith.  Services for Mrs. Sullivan were held at 9:00 p.m. Dec 24 in St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Valparaiso, according to word from Mrs. Gretchen Stultz of Valparaiso rural Rt 5, a sister of Mr. Sullivan.
