VEEDERSBURG, Ind. - Harley Homer Stucker, 88, died Sunday (June 1, 1969) at the Danville Care Nursing Home.
He was born in Fountain County, Jan. 4, 1881, son of John and Elda Marquess Stucker. His life was spent farming in Indiana, with the exception of several years in Texas in the oil business.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Bertha Atkins Stucker; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Schroeder of Mansfield, Ohio, and Mrs. Gladys Gupton of West Columbia, Tex., and a son, John Stucker, Centerville, Ala.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: George, James, and William; a sister, Blanche, and three sons, Finnie, Phillip, and George.
Friends will be received at the Parham Funeral Home from 7 to 9 this evening. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Slaughter officiating. Burial will be in Osborne Prairie Cemetery. --typed by Walt W
