ATTICA — Claud Edward Stucker, age 75, of Portland Arch Road, Attica Rt. 4, died at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at the Community Hospital in Williamsport. He had been a patient there three days and in failing health for several years.
Mr. Stucker was born Sept. 25, 1892, in Shawnee Township, Fountain County, the son of George and Grace Adkins Stucker. He was married March 7, 1916, at Chester, Ill., to Elizabeth Leighty, who survives.
A life resident of Shawnee Township, he was a cattle feeder and farmer. He was a member of the Osborne Prairie Christian Church.
Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: one daughter, Mrs. Claudine Foster of Attica Rt. 4; one brother, Luckey Foster of Veedersburg Rt. 3; one sister, Mrs. Marjorie Rush of Sante Fe, N. M.; one step-brother, Homer Royal of Covington; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three children and one brother.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the DeSutter Funeral Home in Attica. The Rev. Harry Randolph officiated and burial was in the Osborne Prairie Cemetery.
