VEEDERSBURG — Funeral services for Pearl Stuart, 82 year-old retired carpenter, who died Thursday, April 2, at a hospital in Kankakee, Ill., where he had been a patient for 10 days, were held Sunday afternoon at the Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Burial was in the Osborn Prairie Cemetery.
Mr. Stuart was born June 28, 1881 in Fountain County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Stuart. He was twice married. After the death of his first wife, Mildred Boord Stuart, he was wed to Anna Illett, who survives.
Also surviving are: four daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Harold of Veedersburg, Mrs. Mildred Emerson of Kankakee, Mrs. Lucy Warren of Terre Haute and Mrs. Genevieve Wilbur of Lafayette: two sons, Thomas and Lawson of Lowell; one brother, Roy of York, Ind., and two sisters, Mrs. Dot Ludlow of Chicago and Mrs. Estelle Boord of near Veedersburg.
The family had lived in Veedersburg until two years ago when ' they moved to Lowell.
