STUART, Joseph Milton - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Joseph Milton Stuart, a former Fountain County man and resident of Danville for the past 47 years died Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth hospital where he had been a patient since Friday. He was a former auto salesman and was born July 31, 1875 in Rolla, Mo the son of James M. and Amanda Mooney Stuart.  He was a member of the First United Brethren Church.  He is survived by his wife, Ida; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Neff of Danville; two sisters, Mrs. Estelle Boord of Veedersburg and Mrs. Guy Ludlow of Evanston and two brothers, Perly Stuart of Veedersburg and Roy E. Stuart of Muncie, Ind.  Two daughters and a brother preceded him in death. The body is at Barrick & Sons Funeral Home where it will remain for services at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. AF DeGafferelly will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. – kbz
