Mrs. Margret R. Strawser, 60, native of Vermillion County, died at 12:40 a.m. Monday at her home in Foster, Indiana. Funeral services were held on Wednesday at the Benson Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. JW

Knight of Perrysville officiating.  Mrs. Strawser was born Feb 17, 1888, daughter of Alexander and Sarah Loveall Johnson. She was married June 14, 1904 to James A. Stawser, who survives. Other survivors are four

stepsons: Alva, Jess and Earl of Covington and Lewis of Danville; three stepdaughters: Mrs. Robert Dixon, Mrs. Leslie Gouty and Mrs. Pearl Voss, of Covington; 19 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She was an active member of the Benson Chapel Methodist Church and the WSCS and Royal Neighbors of America at Covington.
