Covington - Ind- Funeral for Jesse H. Strawser, 67 of 116 Crockett St will be at 2 p.m Sunday at Hegg Funeral Home. The Rev. Glenn Ray will officiate with burial in Mt. Hope, Covington. Friends may call at the funeral home. Mr. Strawser, a life resident of Covington died at 4 a.m. Friday at his home. He had been ill but death was unexpected. Mr. Strawser was born Jan 28, 1898, at Perrysville, the son of James A. and Amanda Sanders Strawser. He was married in 1916 to Veda Atkison. She survives along with two sons, Elmer and Raymond of Covington; two dayghters, Miss Esther Strawser and Mrs. Shirley Reynolds of Covington; a brother, three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Gouty, Mrs. Emma Dixon both of Covington and Mrs. Pearl Elliott of Danville, Ill; 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a daughter. He had been a crane operator for a gravel company.
