West Lebanon - Dale L. Strawser, 47 died at 9:25 p.m. Saturday in his home at Fourth and Adams Street in West Lebanon. He had been in ill health six months. Mr. Strawser as supervisor at Hyster Co in Danville Ill for 18 years. Born in Covington Sept 14, 1939 he formerly lived in Attica before moving to West Lebanon 6 years ago. He graduated from Attica HS. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Attica and past president of West Lebanon Lions Club. A volunteer fireman for 20 years, he also served as secretary-treasurer of West Lebanon Volunteer Firemans Association. He served in the Army National Guard as a corporal 8 years.
On June 4, 1964 he was married in Danville Ill to Christna M. Colson who survives. Also surviving are five sons: Marc, Tm, Matthew, David and Daniel Strawser and one daughter, Amelia all at home; his mother, Mrs. Frances Fix of Attica. Also seven brothers, James Strawser and Robert Hannon both of Attica; Leslie Strawser of Georgia; Alva Strawser of Covington; Wendell Strawser of Terre Haute; John Hannon of Stone Bluff and Ricky Hannon of Fort Royal, SC; and two sisters, Mrs. Paulette Spivey of West Lebanon and Carol Jo Strawser of Covington.
