Wilbur Stoup, 65, retired carpenter and cabinet maker, died at Lakeview Hospital in Danville, Ill Thursday. He was admitted on Wednesday night.  Born Jan 9 , 1883 in Fountain County, he was the son of John and Candice Cox Stoup.   He lived on a small farm southwest of Veedersburg. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Candice McKinney of Toledo and Mrs. Carrie Kiger of Marshall and three brothers, Ross of Yeddo, Elmer of St. Joseph, Ill and Glenn of Toledo.  Funeral services were conducted at the Fishero Funeral Home, Veedersburg on Saturday with burial at Harveysburg.  Rev. Wilbur Stoup, 65, carpenter residing on a Kingman route, died at 3:15 p.m. Thursday at Lake View Hospital, Danville. He had been ill several years and was admitted Wednesday.
  He was born Jan. 9, 1883 at Coal Creek, Ind., son of John and Candace Stoup and spent all his life in Fountain County.
  Survivors are three brothers, Ross Stoup, Yeddo, Elmer Stoup, St. Joseph, Ill., and Glen Stoup, Swanton, Ohio, and two sisters, Mrs. Candace McKinney, Toledo, Ohio and Mrs. Carrie Kiger, Kingman. A brother, Charles, preceded him in death. – thanks to S&E
