Charles D. "Tobe" Stoup, 67, Rt 1, Covington died at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday Dec 23 at his residence. Born Feb 2, 1919 in Wabash Twp, Fountain County, son of Frank and Alma Civian (Vivian) Stout Stoup. Married Goldie M. Furnish Dec 30, 1963; she survives. Lived and farmed in Wabash Twp all his life. Member of K of P, Covington. Surviving besides his wife are two stepsons and two stepdaughtesr, Mary Kathryn Thompson; Mike Montgomery; Ronald Montgomery and Linda Sparks; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Downey; Mrs. Kenneth (Alice) Trimble; two brothers, John and Fred; 8 stepgrandchildren; 3 nephews; two nieces; three grandnephews and two grand nieces. Funeral services held at 11 a.m. Est Saturday at Bodine & Shelby, Covinton with Rev. Bill Rudd officiating. Burial in Lower Mound Cemetery.
