STONEBRAKER, Maurice - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Maurice A. (Stoney) Stonebraker, 83, Covington d 10:20 p.m. June 11, 1991 at VA Medical Center, Danville, Il. Born May 15, 1908 at Veedersburg, he was the son of Charlie A. and Lydia Lightle Stonebraker. He was a life resident of Veedersburg and attended Veedersburg schools. He was an Army Vet of WWII. He was a carpenter and former employee of the Indiana State Highway Dept. He was a member of the Fountain County Old Guard Post #2395 VFW. Surviving are four sisters, Izetta Douglas, Eleanor West, Beverly Keeling, all of Veedersburg, Ona Mourmout, Covington; four brothers, Jack, Attica; Charles, Veedersburg; Larry, Covington; Carl (Bud) Las Vegas, Nevada and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and a sister. Funeral services are held at 11 a.m. today at Parham-Shelby Funeral Home, Veedersburg with Gary Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Danville National Cemetery.
