Mrs. Harry McKinsie has received word of the death of her nephew, Dr. Paris B. Stockdale of Knoxville, Tenn. Dr. Stockdale was widely known in the field of Geology having served on the Faculty of Chicago and Ohio Universities and for the past 20 years had been head of that department at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Stockdale was also the nephew of the late George Stockdale of Scotts Prairie and has several relatives in that vicinity. – kbz
