Estle M. Stockdale of Crawfordsville, age 80, died Sunday evening June 20 (1982) in Ben Hur Home at Crawfordsville. She was born near Wallace, March 15, 1902 the daughter of Everett and Emma Shoaf Spragg. On October 28, 1923, she married Rex Stockdale who died in 1951. Mrs. Stockdale was a member of New Liberty Christian Church and Ladies Aid. A 1920 graduate of Wallace HS, she and her husband farmed SE of Veedersburg 48 years. Surviving are a daughter, Marjorie Clements of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Phrana Butler of Crawfordsville and Oma Carter of Kingman; a brother, Paul Spragg of Wallace; 3 grandchildren and 5 greats. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. David Sayler officiating. Burial in the Lutheran Cemetery at Wallace.

  Surviving are a daughter, Marjorie Clements of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Phrana Butler of Crawfordsville and Oma Carter of Kingman; a brother, Paul Spragg of Wallace; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
