VEEDERSBURG — Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude Stewart, age 65, of Clinton Rt. 2, sister of Mrs. Gladys Pedigo of Veedersburg, were held at 10 a.m. Wenesday, Jan. 8, at the Frist Funeral Home in Clinton. The Rev. J. Justice Saalwaechter
officiated and burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Clinton.
Mrs. Stewart died at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6, at the Vermillon County Hospital in Clinton.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Hamilton of Clinton; three sons, Jess Crowder of Monon, Ray Crowder of Clinton Rt. 2 and Paul Jackson of Rosedale Rt. 1; one brother, Cecil Baker of Rossville, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Pedigo of Veedersburg; 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
