Mrs. Ethel Bell Stewart, 63, died at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette at 10 p.m. Tuesday where she had been a patient 10 days.  Mrs. Stewart was born in Virginia April 20, 1892, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Baker. She was married three times and all three husbands preceded her in death.  Her last marriage was to Melvin Stewart of Attica who died in 1954.  Surviving are four sons: Cassie Baker of Dayton, Ohio; William and John Bell of South Bend; Wayne Keith Bell stationed with the Marines; three daughters, Mrs. Ted Carney of Attica; Mrs. Gene Silvers of Osceola, Ind and Mrs. George McCarthy of South Bend; three stepchildren, Mrs. George Remster of Grandsburg, Ind; Mrs. Joe Kamstra of Lafayette and Ed Bell of Kokomo; a brother, John Baker of Virginia and three sisters: Mrs. Maggie Stemp, Mrs. Cam Stemp and Mrs. Lizzie McPeep all of Virginia.  Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the DeSUtter Funeral Home and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. – kbz
