F. C. Starns, 81, a school teacher for 35 years, died Friday morning at 10:10 o’clock at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. He had been ill since Aug. 13 and death was the result of complications.
Born Nov. 18, 1865 in Jackson Township, he was the son of John and Margaret Starns. He married Alice Harper at Danville, Ill., in 1887.
Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Effie, of Decatur, Ill.; a foster daughter, Lena Weeks of Kingman; a sister, Alta; a foster grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Wallace Christian Church Sunday afternoon. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery near Wallace. – thanks to S&E
