STARKEY Ella Swan - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Ella L. Starkey, 88, formerly a resident of Kingman died at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. She had resided at Mary's Nursing Home in Earl Park the past 4 years. Mrs. Starkey was born in Benton County Feb 2, 1878. She married Albert Jones in 1893. Mr. Jones died in 1933. She married Joe Starkey in Sept 1935 and he, too, preceded her in death in 1961. She was a member of Eastern Star, Daughters of Rebekah & Kingman Methodist Church. Surviving are one brother, Robert A. Swan of Fowler and one niece, Mrs. Opal F. Hamm of Crawfordsville. Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Monday at Kingman Methodist Church, Rev. Forest Stickler officiated.
