STANTON, Clarence - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Clarence W. Stanton of Danville, Illinois, age 73, was dead on arrival at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Thursday afternoon, February 11. He was born at Terre Haute, March 7, 1908, the son of John and Grace Cumrine Stanton. February 18, 1939, he married Maxine Heck, who survives. He retired in 1972 after working 35 years at the Danville Veterans Administration Medical Center and had worked part time for the City of Danville parking system.

  Also surviving are a son, William of Covington; and two grandsons, William Scott and John, both of Covington.

  Funeral services were held Monday morning at Barrick and Son Funeral Home in Danville with Rev. Paul Paskewitz officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery at Danville. – thanks to S
