Monroe Stambaugh, 75, farmer, resided two miles west of Veedersburg died at 10 a.m. Monday at his home, following a year of failing health.
Mr. Stambaugh was born June 1, 1871, son of Johnathan and Arminda Butts Stambaugh. He had lived all his life at the farm home where he died. He was married to Jennie Shultz, who survives with two sons, Halsey at
home, and Ivan, South Dakota.; a sister, Mrs. Alice Snyder, Veedersburg and five grandchidren. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Fishero Funeral Home with burial at Rockfield Cemetery.
