George W. Stafford, Sr, 82, died at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday at his home in Attica. Private funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon but definite arrangements have not been completed. Mr Stafford, a pioneer resident of this vicinity, was born June 15, 1864 one mile south of Attica, son of William and Lucinda Stafford. He was married to Margaret Campbell Dec 25, 1888 and she preceded him in death. Surviving are four children, William Stafford and Mrs. Russell Bridge both of Attica; Edmund N . Stafford, Odell, Ind; and Dean C. Stafford, Ann Arbor, Mich. There are 8 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
